Dance duo Twist & Pulse announce new partnership between McVitie’s and Britain’s Got Talent

Twist and Pulse announced McVitie’s new sponsorship of Britain’s Got Talent (BGT) by joining the red carpet launch today with a brand new original dance routine featuring McVitie’s cookies and tea at the London Palladium.

The event comes as McVitie’s announces its lead sponsorship of ITV’s hit show Britain’s Got Talent, which is now entering its 15th season.

The crowd was thrilled to watch the pioneers of ‘Streetomedy’ – a mix of street dancing and comedy, a phrase coined by the two – perform their latest routine which had them dipping their McVitie cookies into cups of tea like themselves know how to do it – through the acrobatic and funky dance moves that won them the top prize in 2019.

Before winning ‘Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions’, the South Londoners rose to fame in 2010 for their jaw-dropping dance routines and cheeky humor that wowed BGT judges and viewers around the world, bringing them to the second place in that year’s competition.

Since their second place finish in 2010 on BGT, the two best friends have delighted audiences around the world with their unique choreography, and created the Twist and Pulse Dance Company, a youth dance group that has also performed on BGT in 2012.

After the Britain’s Got Talent judges posed for photos, Twist and Pulse hopped down the red carpet in front of cheering fans.

During the performance, Twist and Pulse, aka Ashley Glazebrook and Glen Murphy, handed out an array of McVitie candies and cups of tea to warm up the adoring crowd in the chilly January weather.

Thanks to this new partnership, fans of McVitie’s and BGT will have the chance to win the best prizes thanks to the new Golden Moments campaign which will offer exclusive cashless experiences, including VIP tickets for the BGT final live at Eventim Apollo , Hammersmith, London.

The Golden Moments campaign aims to spread stories of positivity and fun across the country. Competition details will be available in special BGT-branded packs including McVitie’s Chocolate Digestives, Hobnobs and Jaffa Cakes at UK retailers from 7 March. and 2022.
